內容簡介
2015 年全球經濟景氣受到油價低迷、中國大陸經濟成長速度趨緩，以及美國、歐盟、日本等主要國家經濟表現不佳等因素影響，全球及臺灣機械產業均受到重大衝擊。展望 2016 年，干擾全球經濟成長的諸多因素依然存在；除了謹慎因應外，更應探究且關注整體經濟情勢後續發展。本年鑑的撰寫，即隨時監測經濟與產業發展的軌跡與變化，使讀者能藉以掌握產業發展的脈動與趨勢。
『2016 機械產業年鑑』係由工研院產業經濟與趨勢研究中心(IEK)執行經濟部「產業技術知識服務(ITIS)計畫」的成果，內容從整體產業發展思維來觀測全球暨臺灣機械產業的動向、產品演變、以及未來的趨勢與挑戰。
內容詳實記錄及預測 2014~2018 年機械產業技術與市場的發展狀況及趨勢，除涵蓋我國與全球機械產業的趨勢外，有關臺灣機械設備與機械零組件廠商在面對全球製造業環境的變遷時，如何提升整體機械產業之核心競爭力，以及創造高附加價值之產品與技術，於內文都有詳實的撰述與分析。
本年鑑由工研院產經中心同仁負責規劃與編撰，也邀集專家共同執筆完成，期望能饗予讀者更多元的產業觀點。至今順利付梓，本人在此感謝經濟部的支持、慰勉各作者辛勤地撰述，雖然本年鑑一向獲得不少讀者認同與肯定，但難免有疏漏之處，希望各界先進不吝批評與斧正，以做為後續改進之參考。
