2011年6月，貝斯特編輯團隊成立，因為對語言學習有熱情、對出版好書有夢想，希望能為大眾讀者帶來耳目一新的語言學習書籍，並為它注入新的活力。學習語言不應該與「枯燥」、「乏味」畫上等號，若能將學習語言「生活化」、「趣味化」，讓更多的社會大眾敞開心房，輕鬆地學習，這樣一來，將擺脫過去對語言學習的刻板印象；學語言不再只是為了分數、為了考試，而是讓自己能接觸到更寬廣的世界。
